Alto Comedy
From 2018-2020 I was the Co-Director of live comedy and music platform Alto Comedy, quarterly events in Birmingham which centered female and non-binary identifying comedic artists and DJs.
Created in response to gender and socio-economic discrepancies in live comedy, these events platformed prominent artists alongside offering paid R&D opportunities for regional talent.
Key responsibilities:
Sourcing funding.
Event curation/programming.
Website creation and marketing campaign lead.
