The Play's The Thing Exhibition (Co-Curation)

The Play's The Thing exhibition is The Royal Shakespeare Company's free exhibition, containing items from the RSC Collection, one of the most significant Shakespeare and theatre collections in the world offering a unique insight into the history of theatre-making in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Each year the organisation works with three different community groups to select the items for display based on what they consider to be important. This process involves several months of workshops and discussions through which the items are selected and the audience journey is shaped.

My role in this process has been in leading the collaboration of each group, delivering all workshops and activity in alignment with each group's needs and interests. This work is also documented as a film in accompaniment to the wider interpretation of the exhibition (see 'The Play's The Thing: Behind the Scenes Film').
